Oh I am so sorry I haven't been on here in so long. With Christmas & New Years I've just been busy.
For New Years we went to visit our BF Eddie in Florida. We had a great time as always when we go down there. Just hanging out chill'n with Eddie was enough for me. Steve & I took Eddie's Porsche with the top down and drove along the coast. It was so nice!

So that a sweet start to a new year. Then Sophia & I went down to Jodie's and stayed there for a week. Her husband right now is in Afganistan. So we had a girls week....yay!!!

All this time I'm still going through chemo. I did have to have chemo injected into my liver. Once in December and then in January. It's all good. No worries. I'm doing great. Also had chemo last week too. Then had my PET & CT scans done yesterday. We will know more on that next week. Still need to get my MRI of the liver yet. Oh I guess for those of you who didn't know...yes the cancer is in my liver. It's ok though. I'm good.

Anyone who read's this knows I am a fighter and I'm not going anywhere any time soon. If you didn't know you do now :)

Just remember that life is short so make sure you make the best of it everyday! Get out there and live your life. No one is going to live it for you soooooooo get up and.......

Yeah that's a buffalo. Friends of mine own these amazing beast.

This is Gibbs. My parents lab. Let me just say I had asked my mom why they didn't have one more kid so I could of had a little brother or sister. Well when they got him she called and told me I had a new little baby brother with fur & four legs.........LOL! I have to say he's such a wonderful dog. He's a perfect fit for my parents.

These mums were just amazing looking. Had to take the picture. Such color and they were huge! I hope everyone enjoys my random shots as much as I do. You just have to get out there in this big world and find something you love to do. I found photography. Always liked it but now I loved it. I just see the world a different way through my lens. Enjoy :)

Well we had a great year of camping. I didn't take too many pictures this year. Olny due to me being so sick all summer. So next camping season I will make up for the lack of pictures. Over all we had another great fun filled year with camping.

Well Soccer and Cross Country are over. Darn! Just glad I didn't have chemo during soccer this year. Made it so much easier. Jory got his letter so we'll get his letterman's jacket soon.

Now we're getting ready to do some small amount of traveling. Will be on chemo but will travel in between it. Not going to let the cancer stop me from going to see friends. It will be so nice to just go see friends & family. Steve doesn't know I got tickets to go see Eddie.....hehehehe! It's his christmas present.

Will have lots of pictures to show when we get done doing our thing. So everyone have a great day. Will update again soon......Oh doctor said the chemo is working well :) YAY!

More chemo

Well I had 6wks off of chemo due to fluid around my heart. Spent 5 days in ICU. They were so sweet to me on that floor. Couldn't ask for better nurses. Chemo and ICU nurses are angles!

So had chemo twice this month. My mom took me to my chemo. First time for her. She did pretty good. I was worried it would be too much on her. Nope she did great. But there was this lady there felt bad for her. It was all new to her. So she kept talking to my mom. The lady was scared. So understandable. She (the lady) did good.

So yesterday was my second day back. The lady was there and asked "Where's Gracie" too cute. Mom did not go this time. I had my super friend Angie go with me. We had lots of things to catch up on. Had a great time with her. To me chemo is never sad or boring. I enjoy it. Yes as odd as that sounds I do enjoy it or the place. The place is my second home. Very well taken care of there. Do miss my girls from the infusion center at the hospital. Their super over there too. These people and places you go becomes your new best friends and your new home. You see them more than you see your friends and sometimes your family. But nothing is better than family :)

So I'm just enjoying the day. Little cloudy but hey it's a new day a new adventure. You just have to be thankful your here and alive :)

Everyone enjoy life cause younever know it will be your last :)

I had chemo today. Jodie and Seth came with me. Seth did leave after a while. Gina came and got him. Wasn't much for him to do and it was a long day. Started at 9:00 ended at 3:30.....long long day. But a good day.

Only thing that is up is the fact that the Pneumonia never really went away and is now back in my left lung again. That's where it started. So I have to have 9 straight days of antibiotics. Oh joy! But I do get to see my girls at the Infusion Center...YAY!

At least I'm not having to stay in the hospital this time....that in it self it great! So all is good everyone. There is that light at the end of the tunnel. I'm doing great and I'm happy. Always with a smile. As it should be. You HAVE to be positive. To be positive gives you strength and strength makes you better and a better person. Yes I have cancer. Yes it is terminal BUT my life doesn't stop there. I live my life to the fullest everyday. It's what every one should do. Even if you don't have cancer. Buck up everyone.......LIVE YOUR LIFE DON'T LET CANCER LIVE YOUR LIFE FOR YOU......BEEEEEEEEEEE POSITIVE :)

We all had a great time at the concert! It was so fun! Only one issue was with this crazy guy right next to us. All alone and was jumping in front of us so we couldn't see & was rude. He jumped in front of me when Nikki was trying to give me a pick and took it from me! REALLY DUDE! LOSER! He wrecked Jodie chance to fist bump Brett...she was so going to take him out! LOL! But over all WE ALL HAD AN AMAZING TIME AT THE CONCERT! EVERYONE ROCKED IT OUT....YAY!

Well a whole post on Nikki Sixx. Yup! It's all about him. I think Nikki is an amazing bass player, person and someone who helps run away kids. He is an AMAZING photographer. As a artist I look at his picture's in total aahhhhhh. No joke. The photography that he does brings out a different side of him that I so respect. It's all art.

I've meant Nikki, hugged Nikki, gave him my breast cancer "support bracelet" and have talked to him 3 times on Sixx Sense. I have nothing but respect for him. Some people are like oh he has tattoo's, he's done drugs, he's in a band....I say yeah but what's wrong with that? He's a person and he's been sober for 10 years and you think what about him? They just don't have a clue about this man. Not that I know him personal but he is truly an amazing artist.
So I believe he's one hell of a man, artist, song writer & photographer. Nothing but respect for him.

One day I would love to be on the radio show Sixx Sense with Nikki & Kerri Kasem. I mean right there in LA with them. Kerri by the way is so sweet & a amazing person! Nothing but respect for her too! Plus have a photo shoot with Nikki & go out to dinner and talk about Photography. So if you read this Nikki think about it :)

That is what is next on my "To Do List" same thing as a bucket list...hahaha!

Jodie, Kristie, Lisa & I all went to the concert July 1, 2011 Motley Crue, Poison & New York Dolls. Everyone that knows me knows how much I love my Motley Crue. My best friend Tonya got me hooked with the Album "Shout at the Devil". We use to ride around LaPorte and just jammed out to Motley. I've loved them ever since. I will keep going to their concert's till I can no longer go. They have truly have been thur hell and back. They have over come many issues, personal & work. They came back with such strength that I admire them for it. So here's to Motley Crue...my you keep rocking it out. All of your fans do love you guys. As for me as a fan I do so enjoy you guys. Love how you just keep it real. Bless you all! xoxo

Poison also opened for Motley Crue. But so did The New York Dolls. Didn't get pictures of them. It was hard to get pictures of Poison because there was this HUGE speaker in our way. Which really sucked. I so wanted to see them better. Brett & CC came over by us but this guy kept moving in front of us so he would get a fist bump & take picture's of them. He was by far the strangest guy I have EVER dealt with at a concert. We had a great time hanging out but he did wreck the Poison part of the concert.

Thank you Poison for a great concert! Thank you to the sweet man who gave me Brett's pick. That was so sweet. I think he was in charge of setting up the stage for Poison. He had on a real cool Poison shirt. So who ever you were THAN YOU! That really made me smile!

Nothing but good new with the cancer

Had my chemo day with a doctor's visit. My PET scan turned out good. No new cancer & my bones are stronger. Which is great! Had my MRI of my Liver . It turned out good. Jodie is home for the summer so she took me to chemo. Steve came for the test results. Which the 3 of us were all very happy after the visit. Then off to chemo.

Here is my oldest son Nicholas. Coolspring Volunteer Firemen and Michigan City's Firemen ran the 5K in full gear for me. Nicholas said to me it's nothing compared to what you go through. Their all amazing for doing what they did for me. Thank you all for doing what you did on that hot day. Love you all!

I can never thank the group of family & friends who put on the "Team Juli" 5K walk. I have the most amazing family & friends. I mean really.....they all worked so hard to do this. They all made my heart so happy that I can never say thank you enough. It's hard enough to have cancer but to have stage 4 breast cancer talkes a toll on everyone around you. I thank god everyday that I wake up. Everyday is a blessing. That I know.

Everyone should be thankful that they wake up everyday and see their family & friends. I am. So take a moment and say thank you to god for being here. I do.

I am thankful for every second & every friend. I am thankful for my family. I will be strong. I will stay positive.

Stand up to cancer and don't let it run you. You run the cancer. You take charge of your cancer. You be strong. Strong enough for the world to be on your shoulders. You can do it. I do it everyday. If I can......YOU CAN!

Pneumonia

So sorry I haven't been on here lately. I have/had double pneumonia. So I've been in and out of the hospital for the past 3 months. Last stay was May 2nd though May 8th. I did get home to enjoy some of Mother's Day.

I'm slowly getting better. It's just going to take some time for me to get back to 100%. So no chemo this month. Doctor wants me to get stronger so I won't end up back in the hospital. I have to say the nurse's & CNA's on the 4th floor sure did take wonderful care of me. That I am very thankful for.

I haven't let the pneumonia get me down. I'm still positive about everything. You just have to be. If your not, well I think you just let the cancer win. Why would you let cancer win???

So I tell everyone who has cancer or is in remission.....BE POSITIVE! Laugh, cry & be mad that you have it......BUT......look at yourself in the mirror and just tell yourself you can do this. BE strong....BE positive.....BUT most of all.....believe in your self.

Hospital Stay

Last week had a nice long stay at the hospital. Went in to the ER on a Friday and didn't come home until late Monday. It took all week for me to finally feel better. When I came home on last Monday I slept for 12 hours! I had to have 2 transfusions of blood platelets. Then went to Dr. Kang on Thursday and my counts went up to 38. Not the greatest but they still went up. So we will see what my blood work has to say this week. Hopefully the count went up more. Plus my white counts were high due to the kidney infection. Feeling much better from that now too. That's why I went into the hospital. But all in all I'm feeling much better.

We should all go out into life and teach people to BE POSITIVE. Be humble in life. Don't sweat the small stuff in life....it will still be there when you wake up the next day. Do I think I'd be humble with life right now if I didn't have cancer. I wonder? At some point I would be. But I am right at this moment. So I guess you can say that cancer has taught me somthing in life. Will I be able to teach you that? Will you learn from me? I guess you can say that is up to you. It's up to you what you do with your life. I just hope I've left my print on you in a positive way.

Trip to see Eddie

Trip to see Eddie for New Years Eve. Had a great time with Eddie! Took a while to post anything. Just so busy with treatment and that. We had a super fun time. It was nice to go down and just hang out and chill with Eddie. He didn't work while we were there so that was great. I didn't have to worry about doing anything just hanging out.

So thank you Eddie for a great New Year's Eve! Steve & I had a very good time! Can't wait to come back down but with the kids this time....HAHAHAHA! But you won't mind....maybe you need a mini van for that trip....LOL! Nah we will just drive down....did I have you scared....hehehehe!

Had my chemo today. I had my two chemo's. I thought it was just one today....guessed wrong...LOL!
Went very well. My sister in law Denise & my niece Stephanie took me. We had a fun day. I didn't feel like taking pictures though. We played yahtzee & just had a good time. Yes I make my chemo's fun....hehehehe!
My throat is doing great. It has healed. I just lost a few pounds. But I think I made up for it after I came home....LOL! It felt good to be able to eat.
WOW! That's all I can say about the whole throat thing. It was like a really bad sunburn in there. So I guess it took as long as a sunburn to heal. But all is well.
Feel good & I think I look good.....yeah I look good....hahaha! Well Steve said I looked good ;)

Ice chips, burning feeling, feeling of choking that's my day today. Radiation really hurt my throat. What sucks is there's no cancer in my throat.......had to radiate through that area to get to my spine.

I haven't been on here much because of being so busy with treatment. Now it's all chemo. No more radiation or at least not for now.

I still have that smile on my face. Although it's faint but still there. Going to go lay down. Just wanted you all to know I'm still here. Just moving a little slow but that's ok. It's all good. Some how it's all good.

Just updating on here today.

I've had 7 treatments as of today. So I have 12 radiation treatments to go. I'm doing very well with it. So far my skin isn't dry, red or painful. I have 3 spots that they "zap" me in. Not fun having the cancer back in your spine. Wonder why it chose there...hmmm! Well at least all is well so far. I should be done by Dec 22. Or at least I hope.

Then I will have a PET scan in January to see if we stopped the cancer & make sure no more has showed up. Then I will be back into remission again. So let's all hope so. And cross those fingers & toes that the cancer is gone.

Alright so let's change the subject to something amazing :)

So my sister in law Jennifer gave me this photo contest information. I had to pick 5 photo's for Harbor Country contest. Well ALL 5 of my pictures were picked!! WOW! I was one of the 10 artist picked. So then they have to gallery opening. We go to it and I was told then I was one of 3 artist picked for the final........can you say....OMG!!! Well I did.....LOL!

The pictures that I picked were the one's I took the day I had the CT Scan and I was crying while taking the pictures. Those pictures are the one's that let me be picked for the contest. I am so blessed to have been picked for this.

A thank you goes out to Jennifer for giving me the information for the contest. Now I have to pick 3 of any of my photo's for the next round of the contest. Mind you if I win my photo will be on the cover of Harbor Country mag. WOW! So now I have to choose some new photo's.....ekkkkkkkkkk!

So good things come from a very bad day. I guess you can say when the double rainbow came out I think that was god's way of telling me that it's going to be ok.

Well today on 11-17-10 I had to go and get marked up for my radation.
Then blood work, poked 3 times for that. Then had to get stuck again for my PET scan.
So it was a busy long day for me.
So I should know how long I have to have radation by Thursday. Then see Dr. Kang Monday to know how the PET scan came out. I think I'm going to ask to see it this time. I just want to see what I look like. LOL!
So it's round 3 and I'm ready for the fight once again. Like my shirt says....

It wasn't to hot while they were walking. So glad it was 70 to maybe 74. Great weather. I didn't know how dry it was out there. You must drink A LOT of water ;)

I have to say THANK YOU, THANK YOU & THANK YOU! They walk for all of us. They walked for those who have gone before us, their mother's, aunt's, sister's, cousin's, best friends, grandma's, grandpa's, husband's, fathers' & brother's. Breast cancer strikes not only woman but men too.

So here we are on Camel Back Moutain. I did not make it all the way to the top. As you see in the pictures there were no steps for me. Steve did hike all the way up. Hey that's ok with me. After chemo I' m not the Energizer bunny..lol! But I made it to the bottom of the last part. 3/8 mile marker. Not bad I do say.

I have to say this area is so amazing! I wouldn't of been there if it wasn't for Georgeann doing the Susan G Komen 3 day walk. I have never seen so many awesome women and men who so care about breast cancer. They walked the walk let me tell ya! 60 miles in 3 days! BRAVO! These amazing folks kicked some butt out there! Their all my hero's!

You know I wonder "why" a lot these days.
Why people have to get cancer?
Why people have to treat you different because you have cancer?
Why some of your friends can handle it and some can't?
Why do these nasty, drug dealers, crack heads live a long life when good people have to get cancer?
Why do some drugs work on cancer and some don't?
Why do kids get cancer?
Why Why Why Why?? Hmmmm.....
Good questions.
Well I know that god doesn't give you what you can't handle. For some reason he thought it was a good idea to give me cancer yet again. I can be mad. I can hate him for it.
OR..........................I can be the person I know he would want me to be. For that reason he gave me this cancer.
He "aka" God thought I would be strong enough to help those who can't understand cancer. Those who have the hard time dealing with it. I'm not saying I have all the answer's but I know enough to hold my head high and face cancer head on.
I'm strong for those who can't be strong. I cry for the one's who pass from it. I cry for the one's who just find out they have cancer. I hold my arms wide open and hold the one's who need a hug.
Yet I come right back to that good old question WHY?
None of us will ever have all the answers. I guess in the end those will be answered by him "aka" god.
So I will keep being strong. I will keep my head held high. I will be the stronger one for those who can not. I will be a mom that will teach her children to do everything they can to be the person's I know they will grow into. I will be the mom to show them that you can be strong in times of great pain and sadness. I will be the daughter, sister, sister in law, friend, mother and the wife who will lead them all to stand up and be strong in the hours of sorrow.
I will be ME.

Just some pictures that I took the day I had the CT scan. I cried and cried when I was getting the CT scan done. It just sucked. Plain and simple it sucked.

I think I cried until I came to where I wanted to take some pictures. That is by far the one thing I can do and it brings me peace of mind.

Who knows maybe it was just a sign from the big guy to tell me to hang in there it will get better.

Then as I'm taking pictures the sun was out and it started to rain and rain hard. Sun still out and there it was, a double rain bow. The second one is hard to see but it's there.

Maybe it was a sign to bring me peace. Peace of mind. I don't know why I have cancer yet again but who knows why we get the things we do. Maybe I'm here to show everyone out there that cancer isn't all that bad. You can be a positive person even with cancer. Maybe I have to show my children to be strong when the chips are down. Or you can do whatever you want if you put your mind to it. Not sure why I've been dealt this but I will make the best of it.

That's all I have to give. I just have me to give. Give to each of you the power to and the will to fight. Fight for life. A voice for all to hear that you can beat cancer and you can be positive about your cancer. You just have to be. If your not it's more likely you will die faster than someone who is willing to fight and be that positive person.

You make the choice. You make the choice to be positive. You make the choice to stand up and say I will not let cancer take me. You make the choice to be the better person in life. And you make the choice to be who you are. Only you can make that choice.

This is a perfect ending to a perfect day. This was on Oct 7, 2010. Steve & I have been married for 21 years this day. Been together for 25 years. Also on this day I would of been 5 years out of breast cancer. But the Big Guy above had other plans for me. I'm good with that.

So remember everyone live your life to the fullest each and everyday. You never know what is before you. Plus remeber that October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

Here are some new pictures for Senior pictures and a 6 month old little girl. Stephanie is my niece and she's a Senior this year! Time has gone by way too fast! The young man is actually my sister in law's cousin. He took so many nice shots. It was so hard to pick out the pictures for them! And the sweet little baby girl did so great for us!

She didn't cry or anything when doing her little pictures. It was so fun. I hope all the babies I take pictures of are as sweet as her. What a blessing to do her pictures :)

I hope everyone had a good summer. Mine started slow but all is good now.

Soccer season has started for Jory & Seth. Sophia is going to run cross country.
So there will be lots of soccer pictures and cross country. Bare with me on it...LOL!
I just love sharing the pictures of what the younger kids are doing. Nicholas & Adam don't do sports anymore. Their too old...LOL!

Adam will be leaving for Ferris State by the end of this week. Thank goodness! LOL! Oh that one gives me a run for my money. When your mother tells you that you WILL GET A CHILD JUST LIKE YOU believe it!! Darn she was soooooo right!

Nicholas is trying to get on the city fire department. So far he has passed all the test. Now for the interviews. Wish him luck!! Crossing my fingers. He is a Volunteer fireman. He really enjoys it. He has wanted to be a fireman since he was like 3. So I hope he get's the job.

Well everything else is going just fine. I'm taking picture's and keeping myself busy. I miss going to school. But it's just the way it goes. I'm some what ok with it. Hoping to go see my class mates for lunch one day this semster. I hope :)

This was my day at chemo on June 9, 2010. I drove myself that day. No big deal. I did just fine. I hope everyone understands that I want you all to understand and see what myself and others go through with cancer. Doesn't matter what kind of cancer you have. It's a hard road to travel. Their are family and friends who sometime just don't understand what is going on. And that's ok.

It's hard on everyone. But maybe somewhere in this blog it might help you with your loved one. Maybe your friends won't be so scared to come see you or a family member. We all have to take in everyone's feelings. But the one person that means the most is the one who has cancer.

So think twice when you don't call, start a fight with that person or don't come over. You might wake up one day and they might not be there. So make the best of everyday with whoever might have cancer....family or friend....be there for them.........

Be the one to make that person smile and feel loved!

PET Scan & Doctor visit

Well everything looked great on the PET scan. I'm kicking it into remission. For how long...god only knows. My fate is in his hands. I still will go once a month for an infusion for my bones and I will have to have a shot once a month called Faslodex. That will try and keep the estrogen from making anymore cancer.

We hope this will work. Just like the song "The Climb" well that's what I have to keep doing.....climbing that moutain. I can do it. It might be a slow climb but I will keep fighting!

Thank you everyone for your prayers and those who helped cook for us. Even though I asked only for that once a week. Every dinner was great. Thank you again!

Kris got a Yahtzee!

Up at the top that's Jenn and me coming back from the bathroom. And I was blowing my horn as I went!

Yeah me & the eye patch & yahtzee!

Ok it was a day for Yahtzee And McDonalds. Oh those fries were good! Oh yeah and apple pies!

We laughed so hard today playing that both of our sides hurt! Then I was a pirate.....well everyone said with the big hoop earings that I could be one....so I did it. Captain Jack look out!

Then I finally got my HORN for my I-V thing so Kris put my horn on there for me. Let's just say the whole chemo room today was loud with laughter. No debbie downer's in there today! I thought Jenn was just going to fall over laughing when I turned around with my (Seth's) eye patch on! Paula was laughing too. Today was just a whoot in there!

That place is like my second home and I just love Jenn, Paula, & Linda! They take such super care of me! I couldn't ask for anyone better than those ladies! Just love them!!

I have to ask why can't Steve understand why I like to take pictures. Why I wanted to go to school. Why why why! I don't question him about what he does or what he likes. Jory and the High Jump

He made it to the finals. I think he jumped 4 ft 6 in that day. It was so cold out. He seems to like doing this. So hopefully he will do track at the high school this fall. He will play soccer at the high school. So proud of him. The little boy who hardly said boo really has become a young man. Couldn't be prouder of him.

Went to the doctor today, as I do after having a week off of chemo.
All my counts are great. I have 3 chemo treatments this month and then a PET scan. Well here's the good part........
If my scan comes back good I won't have to do chemo anymore!! Oh yeah!! I think that's so great! Dr. Kang said I've done so good on this chemo that if everything is good....NO MORE CHEMO!! Doing the Happy dance!!

Just thought I would let you all know that!

Jory at his first track meet with St. Stan's. First time any of my kids have done track. It was nice to watch. Jory did get 2nd on the high jump. The relay they got 1st. Then I want to say in 400 he got 2nd. Not sure. It was fun though.

Why do they start so low....maybe it's for short people like me....ha-ha....yes there are some short kids doing the high jump. I have to say they did a great job! Well done to St. Stan's & St. Paul's track team. All the kids did a great job.

Looks like he's floating in air. He does like the high jump. Who knows maybe he will do track in high school...who know's :)

I'm a fighter....I am a cancer warrior.....I will survive...............

Well it was my choice to remove the hair that keep falling out and out. It comes to a point where you get so sick of it on you, in your hands when you wash your hair. It falls in your food. Which is truly gross!

I have to say it gives you the one up on cancer. Because you are the one who can control when the hair is shaved. I took the control and I made that choice. I won't let it control me. At any point in my fight with this cancer it will not control me.

Oh the hair thing. It's all good. I think I look pretty good with a buzz cut there. Give it another week and it will be all gone. My dad shaved his head...not like he had a lot of hair anyway....but for now I still have more than him! HA!

Well here is another month of chemo starting. That's Paula taking care of me. Jenn is some where around. I have to say these ladies are the best! I don't know how they do this day in and day out. Their angels!

So far Nicholas, Gina, Angie & Kris have joined me at chemo. I have to say Thank you to them!! Their awesome family & friends! Without them I don't know what I would do. Thank you!!

Plus a HUGE thank you to those who have made meals for us on Wednesday's. That's always chemo day. Kris also took on the meal planning for us. She makes sure on Wednesday's we have a meal. Thank you Kris.

She sent out those emails and lined up everyone who wanted to help. Everyone has been great!

Also a big Thank you to all my friends who have sent me cards, candy & bracelets. Thank you to all who have been praying for me. It's working! ;)

I feel so loved! That is a wonderful feeling. See acts of kindness help others. It makes me smile everyday.

Well Steve & I went to my doctor's appointment this morning. Dr. Kang had good news! PET scan went great. No cancer any where else. My cancer in the pelvic bone is smaller.

He said when we first started the cancer was at a level (think that's what he said) 6. Well he said anything under a 3 is normal.....................

MINE WAS A 2.1....WHOOT WHOOT!

Now how do you like that!

PLUS...........

So far Dr. Kang has taken 2 months off of my chemo! So only 4 months so far instead of 6....hehehe!
But as always we will see. He could put the 2 months back on. We just have to wait and see. So right now it's 4 months of chemo. 1 month down and 3 to go :)

Here is the speech I wrote for my Aunt Deanna's funeral. I read it at the funeral. I must say it was by far the hardest thing I've ever done. She was an amazing lady. I owed it to her to speak for her. I loved her so. So I thought I would share it was everyone else.

Today we come here to celebrate the life of Deanna. A mother, sister, sister- in- law, an aunt, and a friend.

We need not to cry but be happy for she is no longer in pain on this earth. She is with god & loved ones now.

She wished upon a star and woke up to where the clouds are far behind her. Where her troubles melt like lemon drops. She sees old friend and family shaking hands saying "how do you do?"
They’re really saying I love you. She went somewhere over that rainbow. For the colors of the rainbow, so pretty in the sky, are also the faces of people passing by. That is the place she is in now.

She is at peace. No more pain no more judgement from anyone. Not one person in here is perfect. So do not judge her for the road she traveled. If you walked just one mile in her shoe’s I don’t think you could handled it.
Her battle with breast cancer was a long lonely road. If you haven’t had cancer or breast cancer you cannot understand what she went through. She had other demons. That is where these doctors failed her. Failed her so that she couldn’t let those demons go. If you haven’t walked that road of hell you don’t understand her at all.

WE all loved her so much. WE all wanted the best for her. WE all just wanted to help. She had to want to help herself. No one can fix your issues but yourself. So don’t be upset or mad. She did it her way.

She would want all of us to move on and be the people that she knew we can be. She would want all of us to take responsibility for our own actions. She only wanted the best for her children and her family. She needs all of us to be at peace with her.

Angie, your mother only ever wanted you to be happy. She loved you so.
Sunny, the same for you. Only happiness for you. Forgive her for the person she became.
Brandon, oh how you have her spirit. You do things your way like her. Be proud of that.
Bryce, from the day she brought you home, she always wanted you to be the man she knew you could be. Do that for her.

For her brothers and sister,.my dad Ron, Uncle Greg and Aunt Darlene you also should remember the good times. She loved you all so deeply. Yes you all had a hard childhood but no matter what you loved each other. You only wanted the best for her. At times none of us said or did the right thing. No one is perfect. She would want family peace. Follow her wishes and your lives will be a better place. It’s only water under the bridge.
　
I have to tell of good times with her. On summer break at the old log house was when we all had a huge water fight in the house. What a mess we made. We didn’t have water guns we used cups bowls and ton’s of water. But oh what a great time we all had. The laughter that came from all of us and the fun we had I will never forget.

She taught me how to pluck my eyebrows, put on some make up and even colored my hair on one of my summer trips there. Let’s just say she forgot she had the color in my hair. My parents had no clue what to say. But they weren’t mad at her. This is how I remember my Aunt Deanna. Always giving, caring and loving.

Let’s all remember the beautiful woman she was. Remember her laugh, her smile that lite the room up her caring ways, how artistic she was and remember the love she had for all of us.
I love you Aunt Deanna and always will. You were my second mom in my life. For that I am grateful. I will always love you.

I know you’re at peace and in no more pain. God bless you and may you feel the love from this room today.

Yesterday I was told the one thing that would make my world a sad place. After going to the doctor I stopped in my parents bait shop. I could see my mom out of the coner of my eye when I walked in. I knew something was wrong. Her eyes were red. I could tell she had been crying. She had to tell me.........

Those words I knew were coming one day had came to my ears. Your Aunt Deanna is dead. I said excuse me?!?

Her long battle with prescripton drugs abuse and breast cancer came to an end. I hope all those doctors that gave her those prescripton drugs burn in hell. When their time comes they have to answer to the big guy.

I know she is in a better place. No one to judge her. No one to tell her what to do. No one to look down on her. A place where there are no harsh word to hurt her with. She is in a place where she will be loved beyond how she was and wasn't loved her on earth. I do believe she is in a better place.

So to you Aunt Deanna..........I love you beyond any words I can say any words I can write. I remember you the way you were, My Aunt..My crazy little Aunt Deanna.

Well had my second Chemo treatment March 24. Went well. My sweet friend Angie(Miller)Case took me. We sat there and laughed and had a good time. Yeah a good time at chemo. Sounds strange but it was a good time.

So today(March 25) I feel better. Yesterday I was pale and felt like Blah....today I have the chemo "glow". Red cheeks and feel hot yet cold. Strange way to feel. My cousin Brandon came over and brought me lunch. We had a great talk about our nutty family. My dad's side. My dad is the best dad around. His brother & sisters are wonderful too but I just wish they would get along. Drives me nuts. Glad my brothers and I get along. Yes we have our brother sister fights who don't!?!

I'm also having a moment myself. Guess I'm a little pissed. Mad @ God and the cancer.

I mean really WHY THE HELL ME!! WHAT DID I EVER DO?!?! WHY NOT SOME LOW LIFE NASTY ASS PERSON WHO IS EVIL? REALLY!!!!

I don't want to go any where. I don't want some one else to be there for my kids. I want to see them all graduate High School & College. I wanted to graduate College! I want to see them get married. I want to be there crying when Sophia turns to me in her wedding dress. My sweet little girl.

I want to hold my grandchildren. Baby sit them. Tell my children how much their babies look like them. When they do something just like them and it makes me laugh. So I can say oh you did that too.

Yes I am mad. So mad that I want to put on boxing gloves and go a few rounds with God and yell at him and ask him WHY ME?! Damn you. Damn you for doing this to Steve. Damn you for doing this to my children. Damn you for doing this to my mom, dad & my brothers. Damn you for doing this to my whole family. My niece's, newphew's, cousin, Aunt's, Uncles. Damn you for doing this to EVERYONE I LOVE! Damn you for doing this to my sister in laws! Denise needs me to vent to. Who else is she going to vent to.

Yes I say damn you but I know you will not let me suffer. You will be there to take my hand and lead me where there will be no more pain. To a place where I can see my loved ones that I have lost during my time here on earth. Yet, Damn you. I say that so I can get though some of my days. Yet I love you lord for I know you will not forget me. You will be there when I need you the most. Let me be mad at you and don't be upset because I am. I know you walk beside me everyday. Your there when I have my treatments.

For you are the one who gives me the power to get though every treatment I do. Do not take me in 5 years leave me be for 20 or more. Let me bring my children to be wonderful adults. Let me be.

Damn you cancer! You will never win. Just so you know. YOU WILL NEVER WIN! But I say damn you to hell cancer! I am stronger than you. I will win not you. I will put those gloves on everyday and fight you. Damn you!

We went from Orlando to go see our friends in Richland North Carolina. Steve is a Marine and is going to go Afghanistan soon. So we wanted to see their new house and visit with them before he has to leave to fight for OUR country! He's such a great guy! God be with you always Steve! We love you!!

Check Nicholas out....he fell asleep. I did too but no picture of that....LOL! For those of you that don't know he's my son. The oldest of our 5 kids.

Ready set go.......OUCH.......wasn't that bad. Just didn't want to look.

My first day of chemo. It took 4 1/2 hours. Long day but with great people who took great care of me! Their angels!!! Sorry I look so rough but hey who cares it's just chemo. Plus I just got my new port Monday morning. I was so sore.

Hello everyone!
Just an update about the cancer.

I'm done with radiation. It went great. Strange to say but yes it went great. Everyone there took SUPER care of me. I think the world of them.

But now we have to start chemo. I have to go in and get a port. I had one the first time but had it taken out. Who would of thought I would need it again....not me! But hey it's all good. God doesn't give you what you can't handle. Right? Right!

So I will begin my trip down the chemo road again starting on March 17th. To all of us who are Irish no green beer for me that day...LOL! Like I would drink it anyway. But hey I could use that pot of gold...couldn't we all!

I will have chemo once a week for 3 weeks then a break for a week then back at it. So I think....I can't remember what he said after the word's , " of you get a break." I think my head was saying , "yahooooooooo I get a break!" Then oh ok....sure. Yeah laugh at me now that's ok...I laugh at myself all the time....LOL! See did it again!

Alright so I might lose my hair but hey I look good with no hair. Pulled it off before I can do it again. So I could get a tattoo of eye's in the back of my head and tell the kid's "see told you all parent's have eye's in the back of their heads". Didn't your mom tell you that when you were a kid....see it's true....ok ewwwwww on that but funny!

Ok must go. Everyone take care and pop back to check to see how I'm doing. Will post picture's of my treatment so you all can see that I'm really doing ok.

Ahhhhhhhhhhhh.........fixed the music! OMG! This thing drove me nuts. Too bad I can't have a the skin look cute and match my layout. Oh well at least it works now. So enjoy the music....there's ALL kinds of different music for all to enjoy :)

Radiation is done !

I'm so happy it's done. Yet sad. Everyone who took care of me........well let's just say...

THEY ARE AMAZING PEOPLE!! LIKE I SAID BEFORE THEIR "ANGELS"

I go back to the doctor on Feb 25th. So will let everyone know if I have to have chemo.

Well there it is the machine and me. This thing that I say zap's me. The people who take care of me are amazing! That's Al walking in the one picture. When you work with cancer patients I say they are angles who walk on this earth. I don't understand how or way they do their jobs. But I thank god they are here.

Oh we didn't want to scare anyone with my bum so they covered it up....that's where they zap me :)

OMG! Nothing like having your bum out there for all to see.....ugh! Yeah I have to lay on my tummy and pull those sweat pants down so far....and there it is....my butt! Gee it was a little cold in there.

It took about an hour to get everything ready then it took 1 min & 30 seconds for each spot they hit. The bad thing is it's on my wasit line. So I wonder when I won't be able to wear jeans....eeekkkkkkkk!

Well need to get to bed because I have 4 more days of this for this week. 22 rounds of radiation I have to do. So 1 down and 21 to go.
