Camping 2010...there's more to life than cancer!

Oh there is Steve's empty box. Good to start fire with...LOL!

Jodie & Steve sitting by the pool with the kids. Seth is jumping into the pool. Too hot for me to hang at the pool. So I just took pictures and went back to the camper. But hey that's ok.

These 2 are only 2 1/2 wks apart and I know will be friends their whole life. They are truly meant to be friends/sisters. Jodie is also Sophia's god mother. So I know I won't have to worry about Sophia. Katie bug & Jodie will always be there for her when I'm not.

Claira, Seth, Emma, Katie bug, & Sophia

Steve was playing tag with the kids. It was way too funny to watch!

Sophia & Emma.

We always love to take family & friends camping with us. The one thing is our 2 oldest don't camp with us....LOL! Their "too old" to hang with mom & dad.

Go speed racer go speed racer goooooooooo...........

Sophia and her BFF Katie bug

Got Seth jumping in mid air.

Ha! Steve.

Molly went with us too. Soon Ryley will go with us.

That should be interesting. 9 lbs dog & a 70 lbs dog...eekkk!

Jory & his friend Mikey.

This is our first time camping with our new camper. Traded in the old one for more room. I was having a hard time breaking down the table so Sophia & Seth could have a bed. So the 3 younger kids each have a bunk to sleep in. Which is nice. Steve is happy with the out door kitchen. We have a sign that says "Bar Open"! Just right for Steve :)

I have to say thank you to all who have prayed for me. Plus those who have cooked for my family and those who have drove me to my chemo. So remission is where I'm at right now. Let's all pray it stay's that way for many many years.

Thank you everyone! I love you all and never forget that! So say Aloha Chemo! (Let's hope it's always goodbye chemo!)

My day alone at chemo....you see what I see....LOL!

Kris is never far away :-)

Oh those cookies were sooooo good! Yummy!

Lunch was very good that day.

A little humor there...hehehe!

That was from my mother's day card this year...pretty........

This was my day at chemo on June 9, 2010. I drove myself that day. No big deal. I did just fine. I hope everyone understands that I want you all to understand and see what myself and others go through with cancer. Doesn't matter what kind of cancer you have. It's a hard road to travel. Their are family and friends who sometime just don't understand what is going on. And that's ok.
It's hard on everyone. But maybe somewhere in this blog it might help you with your loved one. Maybe your friends won't be so scared to come see you or a family member. We all have to take in everyone's feelings. But the one person that means the most is the one who has cancer.
So think twice when you don't call, start a fight with that person or don't come over. You might wake up one day and they might not be there. So make the best of everyday with whoever might have cancer....family or friend....be there for them.........
Be the one to make that person smile and feel loved!

Just some pictures............

Just some pictures I've been taking. Pictures with friends. Pictures of the kids. Just having some fun.
I hope everyone has a great summer. Looking forward to getting out of this house more often once my chemo is done here at the end of June.
Hope everyone enjoy's my blog and my pictures. Thanks for everything!

PET Scan & Doctor visit

Well everything looked great on the PET scan. I'm kicking it into remission. For how long...god only knows. My fate is in his hands. I still will go once a month for an infusion for my bones and I will have to have a shot once a month called Faslodex. That will try and keep the estrogen from making anymore cancer.

We hope this will work. Just like the song "The Climb" well that's what I have to keep doing.....climbing that moutain. I can do it. It might be a slow climb but I will keep fighting!

Thank you everyone for your prayers and those who helped cook for us. Even though I asked only for that once a week. Every dinner was great. Thank you again!

I love you all!
